Well, it’s the last one for the year – Fiction in 50, the perfect antidote for those still hung over from NaNoWriMo. To participate, all you have to do is create a piece of fiction or poetry or a very short play with a maximum of 50 words. Then post it and pop a link in the comments, so others can survey your genius. Even as a confirmed atheist, my posthumous experience so far had been fairly unexpected. I picked up the courtesy phone.
“Welcome to Purgatory. To petition your chosen deity, please press one. For all other enquiries, please press two.”
Hanging up the receiver, I sat.
I needed time to think.
