Books I’m Grateful I Read Giveaway Hop 2015

Books-I'm-Grateful-I-Read-Hop

Welcome to my stop on the Books I’m Grateful I Read Hop for 2015, hosted by Stuck in Books and running from November 1st to 14th.  The theme of the hop is fairly obvious I should think, so I have come up with a small selection of the gazillions of books that I am grateful to have read. One winner will be able to choose one book from this selection as their prize.  In the event that the winner chooses one of the books that are part of a series, they have the option of choosing the book that they are up to in the series, rather than the series openers that are pictured here.

    • They really are, although I found the most recent one lacking and could only give it a three-star review. Of course I’ve pre-ordered the Hanging Tree though – I won’t be put off by one slightly crap addition to the series!

  1. I wouldn’t mind seeing fewer vampire erotic romances…. well, I don’t actually *see* them, just the covers and the blurbs… she says, blushing furiously.
I’ve got two of your picks on my TBR list 🙂 Hope you like mine…

  2. I really can’t answer that question as I don’t think any subject or genre, etc., should be censored or not written about. That’s what makes books so nice…you can choose what you want to read and discard the others 🙂

  3. Instalove. I want a book with a believable HEA. Instalove makes me think of teens dating. If you’re a girl, you know there is always that one girl who always has a new boyfriend and she claims that this one is “the one” even though they just started dating and haven’t even had their first official date.

  4. I am tired of love triangles, insta-love and just romance generally in young adult. I don’t like when the romance becomes the forefront while everything seems like background ongoings. Thank you.

  5. It does get annoying to see everyone jumping on the same trope. I’m getting rather tired of seeing billionaires, bear shifters, and mail-order brides!

  6. I don’t think any subject matter should stop being written about. If it means something to the writer, then they should write about it. I don’t have to read it if I don’t like it.
